Programme Format & Activities
The Masterclass offers a dynamic and interactive learning environment that combines:
- Lectures & Keynotes: Insights from global and African leaders in policy, academia, industry, and civil society.
- Workshops & Simulations: Practical exercises in negotiation, policy-making, and leadership challenges.
- Mentorship Sessions: One-on-one and group mentoring with career coaches and seasoned experts.
- Peer-to-Peer Learning: Collaborative projects and roundtables with fellow participants.
- Networking Opportunities: Exclusive access to the KANU intellectual community and Pan-African leadership networks.
Programme Structure
- Duration: Typically 6–8 weeks (part-time, with weekly sessions).

Eligibility – Who Can Apply?
Applicants should be:
- Early-to-mid-stage African professionals with 3–10 years of experience in their field.
- Demonstrating leadership potential and a track record of achievement or innovation.
- Engaged in areas relevant to Africa’s transformation (policy, business, research, technology, civil society, media, etc.).
- Fluent in English or French (bilingual advantage).
- Committed to contributing to Pan-African thought leadership and networks.
Application & Selection Process
Required Documentation:

- Letter of motivation (max. 500 words)
- One reference letter from a supervisor, mentor, or senior colleague
